A few questions while I'm cleaning up the speedo & tach
Posted this over in FCR also - thought maybe you guys would know too.
1. Well I screwed up cleaning the speedo & smeared some of the green on the numbers . Is there a source for the green paint so that I can fix this?
2. Was thinking about repainting the black area on the speedo & tach bezels. What paint do I use, flat, semi-flat, semi-gloss, etc? Also - I assume the edge is unpainted & should be chrome. One of mine is painted the other chrome.
3. Does anyone have a picture of the location of the wiper solenoid on the rear of the tach that they could post or email to me? Mine was missing, but I was able to locate one several months ago. Its hard to tell from the AIM the exact location and there is a capacitor mounted on the tach at the only spot where the two screw holes line up.
