Anyone ever used these exhaust cut outs?
Saw these for sale at Dougs Headers, electric cutouts, a bit expensive at $425 but they sure are

I saw the Trucks program also and the cut-outs look good. Also checked out the Doug Thorley website and confirmed that they look good. Although I haven't used them, I'd be willing to make a purchase if that's what I needed.

Hmm.. it looks like a guillotine style valve, very simple to make if you have a welder. $475 is waaaay steep for something that simple, IMO.

Would like to fabricate a skirt like the Lemans C5 has for its sidepipe exit for these just for the strip. May have to look further into making my own then.

HA! HAHAHA! ROFLMAO! Ol' Doug sure knows how to rope 'em in. Nothing like resurrecting 1950's technology and adding a little "zazz" to it by making it electric. These used to be available manually operated by a choke cable that went up to under your dashboard. Hehehe...Old Geezers will recognize these as "deluxe lake plugs" or "shorty exhaust cutouts" from JC Whitney. Some things never change :D
