Default Thickness of a Stock Muffler...

Such as GM replacement or Midas/Chains. Is it 16 or 18 gage?

Some time ago I replaced the entire exhaust system on a 74BB. I got everthing from Ecklers((allens ehaust). EXCEPT they backordered ONE muffler. After a couple of weeks waiting I bought a Midas replacement. A year later the ONLY rusty piece of the exhaust was the Midas Muffler.

Sorry I do not know the metal thickness. I was just trying to give you a little first hand experience with a product that was a POS. (IMO)
