Default OT-Woke up to snow this morning in Dallas

I think they even mentioned it on the weather last night. What a crazy winter. It was in the 70's on Friday. I guess I will need to drag the heater back out to the garage

Cry me a river :D. I just shoveled 5 inches of snow out of my driveway, and we're expected to have about 20" by day's end.

I don't think you get a lot of empathy from those of us that live in the North East. 130 inches of snow this year and still shoveling.

Shoveling? With your money I would have thought a plow would show up. :jester

Joe, Yes shoveling. The carb on the snow blower had a small hole in the side so it was leaking gas all over the place. I've fixed the carb in December, just need to put it back on. I'm too cheap for a snow service. Need the money for car parts. Rod

Trust me, I wanted more. I usually dust the snowboard off and hit the lake damn. 50 ft of elevation and no lift. :D

It's you Easterner/Northerners who keep driving up our heating/energy prices with all of your white stuff. I knew we should have finished up that seceding thing back in the 1860's. :yesnod:

Michael,

Don't bother. You have to squint to even see it. I'm about 5-10 miles south of Budman. Where I'm at, its very, very light and its already 34+^F here, so its melting. My two little kids weren't impressed at all (they're 8 and 5 and have seen a decent snow twice in their lives...decent in N. Dallas = 4-5" at once).

It is cold enough to cancel my baseball practice, though, which stinks. 10^ wind chill.

I swear I will never move north of the Red River.

yeah and its you damn Southerners that drive up our energy prices in the summer time... so dont cry to us when your temps are 100+ while us Northerners are just into the 80s :smash:
