I got to put it the test today  :yesnod:
No, didn't get near work or a Dyno ... but rather a nice big mountain! :flag
The long grade up to Alpine, CA is literally in my back yard ... and today I took her out after a fillup (techie term for a transfer of money from a Vette owner's wallet to Saddam Hussein's wallet).
With those 3:08's and tall rubber it still won't do any burnouts :blueangel: but on the freeway, Watch OUT! baby! And lucky me there was not a bit of traffic going up the grade. I took her to 5500 and shifted into high gear (right where it used to bog - big time) and she just took off like a bat outta He**.
The neatest thing was that it kept right on climbing all the way to 125MPH going UP THAT STEEP MOUNTAIN GRADE before I let off of it. On the next clear, I kept it at 125MPH for about two minutes :blueangel: and she never skipped a beat. So I guess it's ready to go back on that Dyno and turn some numbers.
Now all I gotta do is hold tight til there's a free moment at the shop, and I just happen to be driving the Vette at the same time! Wish me luck! :auto: :hurray: :lolg:
