Default Got The Original L-88 Hood installed.

Here it is:

Just thought I'd share. I've now had 2 aftermarket hoods from 2 different companies that didn't fit worth a damn. Got the original on there and it fits like it's the hood that came on my car from the factory.

I do have a couple of minor issues, I'll post those seperately.

Looks good. How did you find an original? Wasn't it pricey?

That is gonna be cool. I had a few problems putting my LT-1 hood on but after working it around I got it to work. It was an original also.
Keep us updated on the progress. It is gonna look awesome on your car.

How did you solve the hood latch issue? Chuck

I haven't yet.

I made a post about it but noone has answered the latch question yet.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=493961

I'm going to borrow dlw's RH latch today and see if it fits. If it does, I'll order the later latch style. I think this may have been an over the couter hood from GM, because it appears to take the later RH latch style.

I'm not even sure which latch I have to tell you the truth. I *think* it's the 69 latch, but not positive.
