Proud dad report to the C3 forum.
Been on here for about 4 years now and have to thank the innumeralble members who have helped me out over the years. My son, who turns 15 next month is also into muscle cars. He also happens to have a mild case of CP. For the past few months he has been reading various posts on this forum and with ging into grade 10 next year he just filled in his option sheet. His options are auto, electrical and computer graphics - he told me that he wants to work on custom cars for his lifes work.
For those of you who haev a child with severe learning disabilities and other physical problems you will understand my greatfulness to my fellow CF members for giving him HOPE in life and something that he will be able to succeed in.
Once again to all on this forum a heartfelt thank-you.

We are definately looking into that, it has been such positive exposure to guys like Mike (1bad69), Falvio (SuperFast80) Dwayne76, Wayne(MotorHead) and Curtis MountainMotor) and my mechanic/friend Santo to name a few who have had such an endearing influence on him.

Just keep him away from 78RedShark or he'll change his mind and go into carpeting and upholstery.

you sound like a awsome dad man, i wish i had a dad like some of the people on this board my dad was a total dead beat and what can i say thats just who he was i guess... i played baseball for 9 years and he never saw me play one time but i cant complane i guess now that my parents are devorced and when i was living in the slums i had food on the table and a roof over my head. My dad always made a promice to me we would get a corvette and fix it up and it never happened so a few months ago i got up all my money and went out and bought one and driving around i see little mustang projects with there 14 year old sona and it kinda brings a tear to my eye that i never had a dad who was other there playing catch with me or fixing up my corvette. it really made me see that im not going to be like him and i hope i get alittle boy some day i can be something to my son that my dad never was. It makes me happy to see that there is dads out there who are great parents like you out there

gdh....
I am hoping your son finds happiness in life. It seems that he has a very good influence in you to make that happen. Thanks for sharing as others have said.

In all seriousness, the K-man has a good role model (except for the Chipmunk incident;)) and the sky is the limit for a kid with dreams.
