Default Friends Oil Turning White - Water Leak

My friend's mustang has a water leak into the oil somewhere and I'm curious where some of the most common locations for this are, thanks.

I see this everyday on the GM V6 engines. They are notorious for intake manifold or head gasket failures.

Sounds like a blown head gasket

I have heard of this from alot of people also, most attribute the problems to Dexcool. Paul, what are your thoughts.

Dwayne,
This topic was debated at length here about one month ago. So I do not wish to start it anew. But....Why not. Propylene glycol (pink DexCool) is simply not up to GM's advertised 240,000km (150,000 mile) or five-year change intervals. I have seen severe sludge conditions after three years and less than 100,000km (62,500 miles). You can do a web search on Texaco/DexCool to see the problem admitted. Religious two-year flushing of green ethylene glycol is my preference. That has served me well.

Example, I consider an excuse.

Tell him to not worry about finding the leak. Tell him to SELL the rustang as quickly as possible and purchase ANY GM product. It will br faster and more reliable. :lolg: :lolg: :lolg:

I couldn't have said it better!!!!!!!! I know they make different flaovr ice cream because not everybody likes vanilla, but anybody that insist on driving a Ford has either has never worked on one, or is a glutton for punishment.
I had rather be run over by a Chevrolet than drive a Ford

On a quiet summer evening, if you listen carefully, you can hear Mustangs rusting away.

Probably should of left out the fact that it was a Mustang, might of gotten a few more useful replies :p:

Gaskets are fine, heads and intake is true and straight, what other possibilities could it be?
