Weatherstripping how do you you remove????
I 'm trying to remove the weatherstripping Door and pillers.
is there a trick? or tool i need HELP!!!!

The door weatherstripping is held on with glue and a couple of small phillips head screws. The pillar weatherstripping (that seals the rear of the side window?) is held on with a few rivets.

After I took out the few screws mentioned above, I sprayed some 3M Release Agent (part # 08879) that I purchased from Zip. Then after it set for a while, I tryed pulling it off, sometimes using a flat head screw driver and putty knife if needed. The weatherstrip going up the pillars are a little more difficult. On the rear pillars, you have to remove the inside trim and drill out a few rivets. On the front pillar next to the windsheild, I took that whole piece off and put new clips and weatherstripping on. I can't remember, but I don't think the whole piece needs to be removed (i just found it easier). You too have to use rivets on those pieces too. Zip sells a kit that comes with all the rivets and clips you need for around $15 I think.
