Wilcox price for a carpet set is $ 205.00, header molding is 45.00 . but my local store is 319.00 & 65.00 why there is so much different ? because the quality or what ? If you used Wilcox stuff , please give me some feed back .I am really appreciated. :smash: For 81 vett

Find out who actually manufactures the carpet that both vendors are selling. I'd bet its the same, ACC. The extra you pay to the local guy is helping keep him in business so he'll be there when you need him.

Willcox is a great vendor. Best prices around and very good quality.

If the product is the same, check shipping prices and time to delivery.

The local guy is inflating his price to compensate for the additional cost of shipping in some cases (they may not be getting wholesale pricing). It's possible they order from Wilcox at the same price you pay and then mark it up.

If the dealer is getting wholesale pricing, the carpet price is a little high IMO.

I've used Wilcox a few times. I have always had a great experience with them. Very helpful and friendly.

I just ordered a complete interior from Wilcox. Carpet from ACC, Door panels, seat covers, foam, rear compartment etc from Corvette America. I have talked to some NCRS people and they prefer Al Knock interiors, especially the door panels because they still make them with fiberboard backing. But for me, Wilcox is a good value.
