Any advice before I replace my brake system
I need to replace my power booster and I am going to replace the master cylinder, I also have some leaking calipers. Should I rebuild them or just replace them. Any advice that you all can give me before I start would be appreciated..

Yes. Get the best. Get a hydraboost system. It is far stronger, more compact and cheaper then replaceing a stock system.

If your calipers are the OEMs that came with the car, I would strongly advise replacing them with stainless steel sleeved ones from Vette Brakes (or one of their resellers) along with O-ring pistons. Do this and you won't have to worry about leaks again. If the bores in your current calipers are already sleeved, then all you probably need would be the O-ring piston kit. :)

I think that I am going to go all the way and get the best brakes I can... I would hate to have to stop quickly and find out that I cant...

Oh, I forgot to mention the calipers I bought from Advance carry a non-prorated lifetime warranty. If they ever leak, I can take them back for replacements.

Now's a good time to put in ss braided hoses. Also check all your steel brake tubing, especialy where they are clamped to the frame, this is where they will rust through first!
When's the last time you repacked your front wheel bearings and put in new grease seals????
How's your parking/emergency brakes?
How are the rotors? Are they thick enough for a cutting or close to or past the minimum thickness?

Are you planning on replacing all the brake lines? You can buy a complete kit at reasonable prices. Use caution as the main line on the driver side can not be replaced on some C3's w/o raising the body from the frame. I don't know about the 82 but the earlier C3's are definitely that way. Thank God I found out about it before I stripped my 68's out. I replaced all but that. Will do the other only if I have to or if I put a new body mount kit on.

My Recipe:
GM Vacuum booster, rebuilt staiinless sleeved master cylinder, stainless flex brakes lines, sleeved calipers with Zero Tolerance pistons, Performance Friction Z pads, LMA Dot 4 fluid.
Serious upgrades: Hydroboost, Force Ten Alum calipers, VBP Sport rotors.
