Can someone tell me where the wiring for the backup light switch plugs in at the firewall? When I pulled my transmission the wiring was long gone. I want to check to make sure the rest of the wiring is in place before I spring the $$$ for a new switch and rods.

Two wires pink/green and a plug hanging off the LH firewall near the tunnel.

Thanks Wayne! I'll take a look to make sure Bubba ain't been 'round there. I assume one is +12v and the switch just completes the circuit, causing the backup lights to come on. If I jumper the pink to the green, that should tell me if the rest of the wiring is OK, right?

Oh yeah, thanks for the work so far on the a-arms and tie rod sleeves. They are cleaning up real nicely. Too bad the back of the car still reeks of tranny lube.

The wires before the plug come from up near the firewall close to the steering column.
