ARP Stroker Engine Status
I've notice that a few Forum members are installing these ARP Stroker engines. Any results yet, dyno's, etc. :reddevil

Re: ARP Stroker Engine Status (74 vert)
do you mean Auto Restorations??? I am curious too, as GSC3 has had great luck. I'm in the process of building an AFR based 6" Rod 383. I am going to document the buildup on the forum if there is an interest.

I'm sure that the engine will crank out another 10 - 15 RWHP if tuned perfectly...

Re: ARP Stroker Engine Status (74 vert)
My dad found a 383 kit for about $1400 with crank, rods, pistons, all with 4340 steel. He would rather build his own with something like that than buy an engine. I'm tempted to build a 383 now also...

Well - the most expensive part of a HP engine are the heads which aren't included in the stroker kit... The heads that came on my AR Racing engine cost around $900 alone...

I know that, but he'll use expensive aluminum heads that flow like made and I'll probably use some ported iron heads that he has lying around.
