Looks original. But how much to restore it?

Too expensive at $9k. I bought my '71 454, 4-speed, PS, PB, AC, #'s match for $9.7k. It had most of the suspension rebuilt, engine was rebuilt and it ran and drove fine. Needed interior & paint. This one is in much worse condition and doesn't have AC.

OK, let's begin....
1. rechrome air cleaner lid.... $125
2. new air cleaner stickers .... $3.50
hmmmm..... what's next?
Fuel filter is a replacement... where is the fuel return line?
What color is that?
(uh oh.... I see it is "green"... unfortunately, that reduces market value by $5k. also has the very rare and not so desireable "single carburetor" option. If it aint tripower nobody wants it... but we can fix that! )
Looks like a great opportunity to spend $50k on a car that will be worth $25K!! :) MJ

Re: Ebay big block car. Whats it worth? (TonyQT)
The only cars I’m comfortable buying on eBay are parts cars. 10 days just isn’t enough time to do all the necessary investigation, unless the car happens to be nearby.
