What tranny should I buy?
I was wanting to convert my th350c with a manual. I am definately putting big block in the car. What kind of tranny will take the abuse and should I go with? Also how HARD is it to convert an auto to a manuel? I really like the 6 speed like in my SS.

I went with the Tremec TKO. It is strong then the 6 speed, about $1000 cheaper and with it's internal shift rail no problems with a shifter or linkage.
As for converting the changing of the pedals to a clutch setup was the hardest part for me. Most of it just bolted in. You have a removable cross member so it makes it easier. A little welding is required for a new mount on the crossmember and the driveshaft has to be shortened. No big deal and not very expensive.
