Default Rear Crossmember bushing?

I've seen these made out of alum. Where can I get them? Mine look like they have a 1/8" gap between the frame and crossmember.

See page 25 of VBP's on-line catalog. Closest thing I can think of for what you're describing. "Differential Cross Member Re-Enforcement Kit" I have them on mine and have had zero problems.

Good luck.

But is there anything special about them? Looks like one could just make them youself.

No, nothing special; 'bout a 1/4" thick disc of aluminum with a hole in the center for a stud.

There is supposed to be a gap between the frame and crossmember. That's how the sombrero mounts are designed. What is the problem you're trying to correct?

No problem now. Two people have now told me there is suppose to be a gap. I'm going with that. The gap stays. Thanks for the heads up.
