water and some non bubbling soap... fill it up and take it around the block, open the valves on the radiator and run water through till its clean

Use the strongest dishwasher detergent you can find, either liquid or powder. Make sue it is for automatic dishwashers. Do not under any circumstances use dishwashing liquid (the stuff you would use if washing dishes by hand). You'll never get rid of the bubbles.

How does the detergent affect the freeze plugs and the water pump bearings?
I know the strong flushes can cause leaks in these areas.

Re: good radiator flush? (shoptek)
I cleaned my radiator out several weeks ago using auto dish detergent. It appeared to work really good but my antifreeze looked like pudding to start with.
