The only bad thing bout electric fans...
is going through a dusty parking lot. I work for a heavy equipment dealer and going thru the parking lot this morning was a real test of nerves. The fans were kicking up a plume of dust so bad that the entire car was covered and so was my nice clean engine compartment. ARRRGHHH!!!! Has anyone done anything to solve/minimize this problem like redirect airflow, turn fans off, avoid dusty places like the plague??

I've thought about a piece of sheet metal from the bottom of the rad rearward over the front crossmember. This will seal the bottom and blow air across the block and exhaust.

Yup, got em in the gp. Great price and a great set of fans. Thanks to whoever started the gp.

Just turn 'em off unless you're going to be idling there for a long time or if you have to drive a long dirt road for some reason. I think you might have to just deal with dirty in those cases.
