Another guy with a carb problem
Hey its me again, well i took the top half of the carb off and cleaned it all out over the course of 3 days. all the parts moved freely so i stuck it back on. well this was like a month ago and last night after i had squirted some oil into the cylinders and regapped the sparkplugs, i cranked it.(with the coil disconnected. When we cranked it we could smell gas but we just paused and cranked a bit more. all of a sudden gas started puring out the top of the carb just like it had done before!! anybody know what it going on? or have dealt with this type of problem?

Thanks! That makes my problem seem sorta minor. :blueangel:
Good Luck with it.

You need to disassemble and make sure that the float is installed properly. Check all the measurements and make sure that everything is back together properly. I'm not familiar with Carter carbs, so I can't help with specific issues there.
