Default Has anyone taken off the factory Oil Filter Mount housing the bypass ???

I read recently , that, this oil filter bypass starts to bypass the filter at 4 psi differential on GM engines. This means that not all the oil will be getting filtered. Has anyone gone to a full flow (non bypass) mount ? I see a nice CNC billet one in Jegs catalouge or $49.

Thanks.

NPT taping and plugging is a standard engine mod to eliminate the oil filter bypass. Be sure to use hipo oil filters with high burst rating for those cold starts.
