What is this part called?
I need to replace the grills at the wiper cowl, but cannot find a part item or number on the ZIP or other big websites. Here's the link to what I need on ebay.

Mine on the car, look like chicken wire. I'm guessing these will work. Can anyone source these? Thanks, Rob.

They are useless :) I have them on my 81 and they shift around a lot and seem to attract things that take forever to clean out of them. I would instead opt to get the plenum cover that is offered in some catalogs.

GM Part Numbers. The name is as listed in the GM Parts book.
I have no idea if ANYONE actually calls them "Screen, Plenum Side Panel" or "Plenum Side Panel Screens". Most parts books look like they were put together by people trained in an Army Motor Pool.
On a side note: I don't think those screen work real well. So before reinstalling them, I would try to clean out as much of the debris as you can out of the cavity they are supposed to protect. At Bloominton last year I saw an AC evaporator whose fins were COMPLETELY blocked with leaf, feather, mouse, dirt, etc... debris accumulated over 25+ years. The car's owner complained that the AC didn't work!

I have looked at the pic of those plastic mesh screens several times but I cannot figure out where they are located on a 1978-82. Anyone have a pic or a description of their location?
