Nice day surprise..
For the first time in about 3 weeks (and I was home) we actually had some nice weather, it was about 60-65 degrees and the sun was shining. I headed out and fired the car up for the first time in a couple of weeks, backed out of the garage and headed out.
I pulled out of my neighborhood onto a major road and immeadiately an well worn late 80's Camaro pulled by me, the young redneck with the mullet driving sort of snarled at me, but his girl friend Daisy Duke gave me a big grin and a thumbs up! I wave back at her an winked. :D 30 years ago Bubba in his Camaro (it would have been a primer gray 55 Chevy) would have probably been ready to strap it on with me over that! Now he just snarled and glared and floored his his rattling junker, blowing smoke out the exhaust.
Later as I was heading home I met a C5 'vert, at a stop light, and actually got a big wave from him and his lady! It was a good day.
