How much Trouble am I now.....
While replacing the front speakers on my 77 I raised the dash pad and removed the old speakers. While tightening the new speaker on the drivers side, I droped the 3/8" wrench and it slid way down between the speedo and tach. I can not see it. So the question is do I leave it there or tear apart the dash? Is there anything in there it can shiort out? or can it get jammed in the steering col? I really don't want to take out the dash. Any thoughts would be appreciated

You might be able to reach it from the bottom if you drop the column and reach up. I would definately get it out, even if it doesn't short anything, it'll still bounce around and being another rattle.

One of my few purchases at carlisle last summer was what looks like an antenna with a strong magnet attached to the tip. In fact, i liked it so much I bought 2 of them! Sounds like you could use one of em... :) MJ

DISCONNECT THE BATTERY !!!!!!!!!
Then get the wrench out when you have the time to do the job. Jim :yesnod:
