Default Phantom gauges?

Has anyone gone to the Phantom gauges by autometer? I'm curious about the mounting, how much a pain in the butt will it be?

Do a search of the forum as this comes up every 3-4 weeks. In short - not difficult if you take your time. Grandsport C3 has them - I have them in my 78 - there are several with sport-comps from autometer - they all look terrific.

My website has downloadable pdf's from autometer and wiring diagrams and rudimentary install instructions that can be downloaded.

I'm using the Autometer Ultra-lites. They look really cool, but it does take some effort to mount them. What year Vette do you have? I have a 1979-a nice change from the plastic looking interior- I am doing some custom stuff. I understand that the earlier C3's might be a little easier to mount the aftermarket guages.
