Mine does that once and a while, I just keep kicking the door and try to open it after every kick, eventually it'll open :cheers:

My 77's pass. door did this recently, I lowered the window all the way and used a Llonngggg flat head screwdriver and pressed down on the latch mechanism. Can't explain what/where to press but that did it, replaced the latch mechanism..... :hurray:

Once you get your door opened and the door panel off, look inside by the door handle. You'll see a rod coming off the outside door handle, on the end of that rod is an adjustment and set screw. If that rod is putting any presure on the lock mechanisam it will keep it from unlocking, works fine til you lock the doors. Just back off on the presure a little and it'll be fine.
I replaced my whole lock before I figured this out, live and learn.
