need help with 18" wheels for my 76
I just got my 76 finished to the point that I can drive it, I want to put on 18" wheels to it.
I was thinking of getting Cragar Forged 18x8 wheels with a 4.5 backspacing.
I don't have offset arms and have done nothing to the suspension except GT coils in front in order to lower the front end about 2".
The rims are listed here: http://www.cragar.com/wheels_cfw2.html
I will put on 255/45ZR18 Toyo Proxes T1 tires on them.
Have any of you guys install these on a C3???
My car is at http://www.lovecars.com/corvettecorner/erniesvettes.htm

Check out Chris "McSpeed's" car. he goes by 69MyWay. sorry im not much help. i know with the 18" intros i wil eventually get they make the wheels for the car. they take into consideration if its been lowered etc.

It's been lowered in the front only, but I don't think that will be a problem since the biggest diameter 18" tires that will fit the rim will still be smaller than the stock combo.
Thanks
