If so, then my calucaltions are off. I am pretty sure I am relatively close so the adaptor as show will hit the crossmember if I use the tilted bellhousing and will hit the exhaust hole if I use my vette bellhousing. I might have some wiggle room with the vette bellhousing but will have to to do a install with it attached to the eng to tell for sure.

On the weekends Norval spends all his time with his family. He surfs the forum during the week days. I'm sure he'll post on Monday .

Shane I resisted buying a computer for years but my wife finally decided she wanted one so about 2 weeks ago we made the plung. I resisted because I didn't want to spend my home time sitting in front of a monitor. Well guess where I am right now? :) :)
Fevre I used a ford Tremec and the speedo output is more in front of the mount. I posted a poor picture of it put you can make out the speedometer cable making the bend and going straight into the tailstock. This is the finished mounted transmission.
It is a little dark but you can get the idea.

I just went out to the shop and looked under the car at the outlet for the speedometer and it is infront of the mount right behind where the tailstock narrows down. It allows easy access to the speedometer.
It also looked like there is lots of room even if it comes out where yours is. My crossmember easily clears the transmission tailstock.
Have a nice evening

Fevre,
How's the T-5 swap going. I'm planning on the came swap with the angled bell housing. Do you have the removable crossmember. If not, are you mounting the T-5 to the existing crossmember? Just wondering abount the possibility of modifying the crossmember or its location to clear the speedo cable.
