Heater fan
Now that the heater core is in, I find that the blower only blows very low.
Do you think it's the motor, or the resistors in the switch?
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement switch.
Thanks
Pat

Re: Heater fan (30yr Wait)
The resistors aren't in the switch, they are found mounted to the top of the evaporator cover (if an A/C car) or to the firewall side of the heater box if a non A/C car. There is an oval shaped flange about 2 inches long with a small bolt on each end of the flange. There is a plug with 3 or 4 wires mounted to the top of this flange. If you remove the 2 bolts you can pull the resistor pack out and examine it, it appears to be several coils of heavy wire.
There is also a relay that is attached to the circuitry, it is mounted to the firewall or the evaporator case.
Get a copy of the wiring diagram, you should be able to find all the circuits.
