Summit also has Prothane (jeg's probably has them too). Thier kit is only around 100$ or so and it has:
sway bar links & mlunt cushions front & rear
all a-arm bushings
all new boots for ball joints
steering ram bushings
transmission mount
lower diff mount
camber rod bushings
80-82 differential carrier bushings
Trailing arm bushings
I think the older style carrier bushings too.
... and some other stuff that I probably forgot.
The kit is very complete for the money.

Re: anyone use energy suspension urethane bushing (mxzx turbine)
I bought the entire kit and installed the rear portion. I am happy with the rears. I am going with rubber bushing on the control arms though, so I sold the urethane bushings. They are easy to install. It's getting then old ones out that can be a b!tch.

I used Energy Suspension's poly bushings on my front control arms. I think they cost about $70. Very pleased.

Re: anyone use energy suspension urethane bushing (1970 Stingray)
I bought and installed the Energy Suspension kit and had the whole suspension sandblasted and painted (actual install done by my mechanic, he's right the removal is a bit$%) very happy with results.

pretty good products, i have a mix of both prothane and E-S. my complaint is their instructions suck, mainly because there aren't any. not a big deal for the bushings tht actually look like the ones they're replacing but there are a few that don't look at all like the old ones.

Re: anyone use energy suspension urethane bushing (turbine)
I've installed them in both front and rear locations (body mounts too). Easier than replacing with rubber. Love the feel, hate the squeeks (primarily when they're cold). Be generous with the grease that's supplied.

I installed the red bushing from them & have been very happy so far. Much better than the cracked/ missing bushings that they replaced ;) . My car's suspension is much tighter now :D . The hardess part of the replacement was removing the old a-arm bushings .
Here you can see some of their bushings :) .

hey steve, looking at your rear (hehe) suspension, am i right that not only are you running a 'smart strut' set up but that your rear spring is mounted lower than factory? am i seeing that correctly?

I used the red ones on my 73. Put them in two years ago. Check the bolts on your control arms when your changing oil. They have a tendency to loosen up. I lost one bushing last summer. Energy Suspension sent me a new one for free.

Re: anyone use energy suspension urethane bushing (mxzx turbine)
I had my entire front end done w/poly. My mech advised to leave the rubber on body mounts to reduce vibration and cracking. So far I am VERY HAPPY! I haven't done the rear yet. That will have to wait. I will be changing spring to glass. Can't decide what #. Don't scrimp, do the whole front end.
