A bit of color under the rear?
I was just about to paint up all of my rearend/rear suspension pieces in plain, boring old black, and it occured to me that a bit of color under there would really spice things up! Especially because it will be really visible because I never have the spare tire carrier back there.
I was thinking of maybe doing the halfshalfts in silver or maybe even red. I'm curious to see what you other guys have done. Please post pics of your done up suspension pieces.
I'm open to suggestions!

Silver would look really good with your car.
I ended up painting mine plain old black, and I'm sure I will be kicking myself soon after I put it in.

I've seen some other here with some red, blue and yellow (not all at once) that looked great. I'm sure they'll post something soon.
In the meantime, here's some silver and black which is close to stock, but clean. :D

78Vette- Thats just what I was wanting to see....I really like the look of yours. It really does make things look better under there, definately a cleaner look. I really like the silver differential!! Hmmmmmm...maybe red half shafts to match my red calipers and a silver diff and strut rods.
I like where this is going..... :yesnod:

Looks like I'll be spending the Spring on my back under the Vette! I'm jealous of you guys that have painted the rear. Looks great!

Holy crap! You guys spend way too much time under the rear end of your car. All of your rear-ends look really nice. (gosh that sounds bad :skep: )
