got better gaskets to seal leaking intake manifold
fel-pro permatorque are too hard, and they have a steel shim. not recommended by Edelbrock. i had a set so i tried em but they leak with the .015 head gasket i used to raise the compression, they were fine with .038 hg, however.
i asked the rep at Northern Auto for the softest, and they sent me a very promising Silicon beaded set by ENGINE MASTER(pro series) #5000 1.25x2.00 only $9.99(no end seals) nice and soft, no steel shim. i can't imagine it leaking :cool:
they also have #5010 1.25x2.125 for big ports
