There's a 1980 registry here;
http://iotech.no/corvette/

The site has problems though...I have tried to register my 80 there and get nothing but errors.

I was thinking the same thing, but Paul is a very experienced and knowledgeble about sharks, so I will have to go with his calculations! Maybe they were counting by 2s in 68! :lol: MJ

Chris,
I finally registered mine on the 78 site. I will have to look at the date code when I get over to see it again. I know it translated to Dec 12th though.

Just got the automated email on that. That picture in your sig. must be old, I know you are further than that.

We're ready to pull the body on our 79 coupe this weekend. :crazy:

I added my Father's 'vette in the 1978 registry a couple of weeks ago. That was one of the first pages I found, when looking for 1978 models. Glad to see it is growing. :yesnod:

Yes, I thought this through about how to say this. There would be ONE car made in between, so her car WOULD NOT be the next one obviously, so I guess I should have said "the 2nd one built" AFTER mine. :lolg: :lolg: :lolg:

Paul, what is the 1975 L82 survey?
Chris, it's kind of a Survey I did, not really a registry, although I probably could have said "1975 L-82 Registry" instead of survey that I started in 1998. I have 60 some '75 L-82 cars out of 2372 L-82s that were made that year in my survey. Just something "extra" I guess I ended up doing. In my Corvette travels since '98, everytime I saw a '75 L-82 I'd write down the VIN, color, options, etc that I could see unless I talked to the owner, then I'd get the trim tag and motor info too. When only 2372 cars built, you don't see one of these cars everyday, that's for sure. The most I ever saw at any one Corvettes@Carlisle was four. :yesnod: I've kinda slowed down in doing it, but still will record one when I see it.

Yes, a few things. An owner sent me a copy of a letter from GM saying ONLY "366" 1975 L-82 convertibles were built. Also, about half of the "60" '75 L-82 cars in my survey are coupes, the other half convertibles. About an even split between 4spd and automatic. The earliest '75 L-82 in my survey was like second week of March production. Many original owners told me they waited for up to 6 month's for delivery of their car.

Also noticed there is NO 1974 Corvette Registry-did they even make '74 Corvettes :lolg: :lolg: :lolg: Oh, here's one :lolg: :lolg: :lolg:
