Where do I go to get Heads CNC'd?
I will soon be taking my heads off to have the spring seats enlarged. After reading a post by 427Hotrod, I started thinking that maybe I should consider having my aluminum D port heads CNC'd. I have always been more than a little nervous about someone doing a free hand job on them. Too many stories of heads that may look nice, but don't flow worth a darn.
How much of an increase over my 480rwhp @ 6,000rpm do you think I might get from doing this? What should I expect to pay?
Chuck

Don't do it Chuck, head porting is an over rated method of increasing Power. Let me suggest a hydraulic flat tappet cam with .320 valve lift on a 200 lsa. You may want to try some lower compresion pistons also, something in the range of 4.5 to 5 to 1, that would sure save money on high octane fuel.
Our dyno war is not over :boxing
Living in Southern California I know of a few good shops, if you want some numbers let me know.

Chuck - a member on the forum had some SR torquers cleaned up by a guy around here. I think Belmont area, but I could be crazy. Tom would know what I'm talking about if you pushed the right buttons. I'll see if I can find it.
Blackburn or something like that.

Blackstone has access to a flowbench and even an engine dyno, if you're so inclined. Give me word if you need/want help! I've been hitting the gym hard.
