seat covers...leather or leatherlike? and where?
its almost time for seat cover replacement...
ive heard alot about leatherlike...is it really good?
and where is the best place to buy them?
i will be buying my carpet from Wilcox and their prices are...
leather (100% replacement)...$293...
leatherlike...$127.88
also...if some of my "hardcover" seat peices are scratched...do i paint them or dye them or what?

I bought the leather seats and love them, if by "hardcover", I dyed my dash and all trim pieces and it came out well. Pic's on my web site

I personally like vinyl or leatherlike myself. Call me odd but I don't like the feel of leather. Especially in the middle of the summer when you burn your backside.

My car came with new vinyl -Leatherlike?- covers in tan. I dyed them black and they seem completely acceptacle to me as far as feel and look.
I would like to get C5 leather, but am in no hurry.

I am having new Leather seat covers made and installed on the foam for my 79 by a friends Dad he has been doing this stuff for years. I will have them back early next week. I will post pics. He is charging me $400.00. All I will have to do is pop them back into the plastic seat bottom and back. He did his sons Porche and they look great.
