Rick... I had a locked unit on my 69. After I finally got it extended I used a rust penetrating fluid called Kroil which is by far the best stuff around. I got them working very nicely but it took a little time. DO NOT take the unit apart. You could send them to Snake Oyl for repair.. They do offer a repair service. look up their site. ... Mine are more expensive than yours because they are unigue to late production 69 only.
