Installing glass front bumper on 74
Can I get rid of the metal support for the old urathane bumper? It weighs a ton and prevents me of getting my new glass bumper perfect.

What do you mean by metal support. There's a bumper under there (FOR SAFETY) and the bumper will have rubber strips attached. If your thinking of tossing the bumper, I vote NO! :nonod:

Stew, When I was fitting a glass bumper on the 73 I had to adjust the heavy metal bumper rearward to get the clearance I needed. Good Luck, Craig
