Just found out Old Air Products in Fort Worth can integrate AC controls
The main reason I didn't want to swap out my stock evaporator, blower etc. was because I didn't like the aftermarket controls that are offered. I just picked up some parts at Old Air Prodcuts and after talking quite a bit, I found out they integrate factory AC controls to work with their evaporator.
Since I'm going to modernize my C3, throwing away the huge dinosaur evaporator/blower combo and putting in a new unit is an option, it's time to start looking a what car do I want to steal controls from and how I can install them in my car. Probably the biggest advantage will be the elimination of the huge bump on the inside of my firewall.
