What's wrong with my steering!?!?
It's way too easy to steer! So much so, that at 65+, you're fighting to keep the car on the road because the slightest movement of the steering wheel will send you off the road. What's wrong?

Re: What's wrong with my steering!?!? (corvettemaster)
The car is darty. It could be the alignment, I think too much toe either in the front or back, not enough caster or a problem with worn steering components like the idler arm, the ball joints or the steering box.
Take it in for a alignment and give them the specs you want, they give it a free inspection for worn parts.
I like -.75 camber, + 2.75 caster and 1/16 toe. These specs are not stock but easy to set in your front end.
If you go by stock specs they are quit a bit different from these but these work great without excess tire wear.
Hope this helps

Mine sucks too, they are too responsive. It's pissing me off. The new tires got rid of alot of the bump steer, but it's still scary sometimes.

Get rid of the power steering, put some new low profile tires and wheels and
lower the car down 2 inches. Worked for me.
