Default CD changer

I have a 75 vette and would like to put a 6 disk CD changer in. Does anyone have a good location for its installation?

Ed, I have a 79 with the 3 door storage compartment. I put mine in the jack storage compartment. I removed everything out of the compartment and mounted the changer upright. Fits perfect.

I mounted my Pioneer CDX-FM673 in the jack storage compartment. It still lets me acess the jack and I have enough room for the T-top bags. The wired remote fits nicely in the indent in the console or I can push it between the seat and the console if I don't want it seen.

are you using an FM modulator with the factory radio in that setup?

Yes I am using the factory AM/FM/CB with the changer. I have also upgraded to a set of Infinity Kappa speakers in the stock mounts to help with the quality of sound. Not quite audiophile quality but sounds good over the sidepipes.

Do you need the radio unit to run this system. I'd be happy with just the CD changer. set up!
