Rear End Code Help needed
I posted earlier but received no replies. I can believe the I stumped the forum menbers with this one. Im trying to ID the rear end in my 71 but the numbers dont seem to match early 70's codes. I think the rear may be much older. The numbers are: FA 10 3 66
Anyone have this sort of code on a C3 vette?

The FA code is a 3.70 positraction rear. FA was used from 65-69 rears. Looking at the other numbers might indicate a 66-67 rear

Thanks for the info. I think you maybe correct on the 66 being the year. Im guessing 10 3 66 is the date code. Thanks again for you help
