I wish I was indeed driving the Vette out there. I am in fact, driving the Pontiac and celebrating Mom's 81st Bday today. Tomorrow (Sat.) will be the only day I can spend there at the races if at all :mad :mad
My car is running really lean as the Dyno showed last night. :nono: and I don't wanna keep driving it like that, especially at speed. I need to address the fuel pump issue and possibly put in a HIGH-FLOW needle/seat combo before doing any more hot rodding.
Damn I wish I could have had it on the machine a few weeks ago before I put a thousand miles on it like that! :smash: :mad :nopity

I used to have the edelbrock 1410 or what ever the electric choke 750 was. I installed the offroad needle and seat combo. All it consisted of was heavier brass needle so it couldn't be bounced of the seat like in a offroad vehicle or hill climbing. i guess that it was also heavy enough that plusing fuel from a mechanical pump could bounce it either.
It didn't fix anything for me because I stay on the roads when ever I can. After ten years I finally said **** on it and bought a Demon 750
