newbie, needs help!!!! No don't figure.
Hello all,
I am new to the fourm, with project in shop. 1969 350 coupe stock (kinda better).
First off, I can't spell for poop, but will get my question across. I have done a complete tear down to frame and blasted and painted (pro15) the frame. replaced all the lines and rebuilt the swing arms and rearend added 5/8 sway arm and new FiberGlass leaf. New front end with 1" sway bar and 4 Ibac (sp) springs. am about to set the motor on the frame, 383 strocker 30 over XE262 comp cam 1.5 roller rockers, ported and polishd heads, performer rpm intake and new 750 spreadbore.
Now you too know the car! I am in need of a front nose clip, a 1 piece of good quality. I will not have the calmness required for putting jigged parts together. I figure by the time i find a nose, I will be done with the exhaust and ready to set the back half in place. I would realy like anyones help on the next step for the body.
I am sure i will be spending way too much time here, now that I have been turned on to this fourm. Thanks all.

I think your best bet is the ecklers one piece front. Not stock - but it doesn't
sound like you are going NCRS. Looks like they have two types. The one they
show needs inner fenders and all that crap added to make it complete - grills
valance spoilers blah blah blah $$$ Other than that, a decent stock used nose
with headlights/etc will likely run at least $2000 for a '69 - cheaper for (dare I say it)
a plastic front 73-77. I think I saw one in the parts forum for $800.
Welcome to the forum - and sounds like great work. We need pictures !!

Welcome!
You might keep an eye on ebay--complete front clips come up there on occasions from boneyards and people parting out cars.

There are a number of 'vette fanatics in Washington, including the craziest man alive :D Merlin522. There is a place that he got a lot of 'vette parts from on his "Project Insane Asylum" check out his website, he gives full props to the guys he got his stuff from. It looks like from his site that they have a pretty big inventory of 'vette bodies and frames.

I will get some pic as soon as I can. I am not very good at downloading from my camera. But i think we may have a crossed wire. i am not back halfing a narrowed rear end, it is only the back half of the car from firewall to rear bumper that I will be setting back in place. Thanks though for the vote of confidence.

Please what is NCRS  I still have all the matching numbers and the stock stuff, except the rear leaf. I like to think I am doing a re-assembly and making it better.

Re: newbie, needs help!!!! No don't figure. (burners)
Welcome! Sounds like you have a great project underway. A friend of mine just bought a complete used front clip. He said that by the time the hassle of crating, the truck freight expense and runaround, he probably would have been money ahead to have just bought from Ecklers.
Good luck, Keep up posted on your project.

Smokehouse69 - Hey, wait a minute. I resemble that remark! :yesnod: Welcome stormin! Always glad to see another fellow Washingtonian on the forum. Definitely give Bill or Bob at Pacific a call. They're great folks. If they don't have one, which I think they do - they'll be able to lead you in the right direction.
