carpet...what do you guys think about 80/20 vs the furry stuff?
opinions please...???
dosnt anybody else like this stuff besides me?
what am i missing here? the guys at Wilcox said that nobody has ever asked them for it for a C3...what gives here?

I'm partial to the 80/20. I think it looks "classic", easier to get clean, easier to vacuum.
I think your year was pile, but you could install either (a job I just finished).
It all boils down to what look you would like. I have a large chunk of the 80/20 dark saddle if you want to borrow it for a while to see what you think of it in your car. I could mail it up and then you can send it back after you decide.

I like 80/20 but only if it was available that year.Im doing an interior on a 74 right now and I have been told that you could get either or on that year.Deluxe interior had cut pile and standard had loop :seeya

If your not doing a resto. then put in the carpet that you like, and don't worry about it. :cheers:

I only use 80/20 loop,much easier to keep clean.
I just ordered 80/20 for the '68. :cheers:

I have the 80/20 only because I wanted the stock look. Wasn't too bad to install and I wonder if the "furry stuff" is more difficult? :seeya

When I bought my car somebody had switched it to the cut pile, but I personally like the classic look of the 80/20 that came in my car originally so I switched it back. Needed new carpet anyway.

Furry was for the custom interiors in 70-73 for sure, rest had 80/20. I like the custom (furry) and will change from stock hopefully this year.
