My wife was tired of hearing me complain about the steering wheel. It was in bad shape and the leather was flaking very badly. Without me knowing, she purchased a new Mahogany steering wheel with bushed aluminum "spokes". It is gorgeous. Now I get to install it. I feel like a kid in a candy store!!!

It may be a trick. First, check:

Are there ticking sounds coming from the wheel ?
Is there a fuse hanging conspicuously from the rim ?
Does it look like there is a spy camera/microphone embedded into the hub ?

Be careful, it may be triggered with the horn button. Have her test this !!
