Caution with adjustable clutch pivot ball
Just wanted to let everyone know, when I was putting things back together the other day I found the lock nut on the adjustable pivot ball had cracked and the ball was loose in its threads. And the other piece was loose in the bellhousing. I didn't have all that many miles on the setup, but they were some hard miles! I replaced the skinny jam nut with a full sied nut and used a whole bunch of locktite putting it back together. Better hold up this time.

I remember someone saying they welded them in once they were sure of the position.

Steve Straus had a major rant on the same problem!! I'm sure he will be pleased to know he is not the only one..... (Not pleased that you had a problem, just that he wasnt singled out for persecution! ) MJ

I am in the process of checkin mine out now.. I have something , which I can't figure out yet, going on in the clutch path. Happened after doing a dry burnout with line lock , a big :nonod: Live and learn..
Did you have to take it all apart to check it?
