A happy differential story!
There lots of threads about differential rebuilds going on right now. My diff was a chattering, rumbling beast, too. But two quarts of GM diff fluid and 1 bottle of GM posi additive changed its attitude right quick.
Now my diff is as smooth as it can be! So get out there and change your diff fluid before it's too late!!! :yesnod:

Re: A happy differential story! (Michael Tucker)
Do it yourself or come on over and we'll do it here! I have a vacuum pump I use for the engine oil in my boat. It took all of 30 seconds for it to suck out the old fluid. Never even had to smell it.
But even fresh, new diff fluid stinks! :U
