Anyone have a pic of the upper spring inspection hole?
I think I've found it on the car, but not sure. Can not see the spring at all through it. The one on the passenger side seems even more far removed, very hard to look at! I think I need to be hung upside down from the ceiling by a leg if I wanted to get a real good look at. Anyways, I'd really like a pic of its location, and perhaps a pic that shows how the spring should be viewed from inside the hole.

Don't have a pic but if the spring is black then you won't realy be able to see it thru the hole, too dark.
When I install cut down springs I put a piece of masking tape on the end so I can see it thru the hole and then I know it's in the right place.

All my metal is a dull brown, but the springs are black. I saw no signs of black in what -seemed- to be the inspection hole. I'd just like a general idea of where it is and how to look through it. Maybe use the shock stud or a-arm shims as points of reference...

There is only one hole there, so you must have found it. You only have to be off 1/4" to miss the position.
