I have no doubt that if I was looking for another project...
I would pay $4501.00 for it.

I bet there is some kind of personal problem here. Divorce, or sickness. I can't imagine getting a car stripped to that condition then just loosing interest in it. If the frame is in good shape and all the parts are there, then it might be worth $4K-$5K. It would still take another 10K just to get it in acceptable condition. Assuming all the usual suspects in this project need rebuilding, then it could need even more money to get it in tip-top condition.

I think a little buffing of the paint, a new set of tires, and maybe flush the gas and brake lines and your ready for summer!!!!!! :lolg:

I agree Larry.... if all of the major parts are there a '68 vert might be fun to put back together. Appears that the body work is done, but is left outside under a tarp. Skeeter & humidity city in Louisiana that can eat up even the cars designed for it. The only thing I would distrust out of the auction is that Denhem Springs is the La. Capital of hatcheted vettes and the guy was doing this restoration with a *1* car garage. What was he thinking? Jesh!!!

Not gonna bid.... I'm only semi-looney tunes!

When he sells this one he is going to take the money and build a piece on his garage so that he doesn't have to cut his next car in two :banghead:
