Still waiting for heads to arrive so I thought about getting headers ordered. This is on a 80 so air injection tubes are needed to pass emissions. Was talking to Hedman Headers about p/n's [68301] and mentioned they would be bolted to AFR heads. Was told to talk to racing dept. for special order because of the exhaust face angle, standard headers once installed would be angled towards center line to much. Still waiting for info. from them so I thought I'd check with the forum to see if anyone has had this problem. Could this be why so many people when installing headers on any after-market heads have to deal with clearance issues with the rest of the exhaust system[transmission-starters-ect.]?
So anyway I'm hoping someone has this combo and can give me a little insight on the install and any problems they may have encountered.
