Default 454 swap

Hello guys,
Just keeping you guys up to date with my planned 454 swap. I now have the 454 in my garage (picked it up on Friday). It came out of a 1988 C-30 chevy truck w/TBI. I was wondering if the oil pan from the truck will fit into the vette or will I need another oil pan. Also are the engine mounts and frame brackets the same from a small block to a big block. :D

The engine brackets on the chassis are the same. Unless the pan has some step at the front making it deep under the 1234 cyl's it'll fit. The Corvette chassis has more rear sump room than most anything else you'll run across and there are very few other cars that will accept a Corvette pan.

I don't know what the height is on the TBI from a truck, never having seen a big block one, but I wonder if you'll have clearance problems with the hood.
